Yes, this is Hallowen 2019...fortunately for Mom & Dad, both Kalia & I wanted to wear the same costume that we wore last year! So here's a t-rex and black cat:
We ventured out with the neighbors...
and the moms were ready!
I didn't stay out too long...I thought it was much more important to be home by 7 to watch Thursday night football. Haha!
Kalia stayed out a bit longer with her friend, Vivian, then came home with all her "goods"!
We picked through our candy and kept a few of our favorites, then loaded everything up back in the bucket and sent it to school for the teacher's lounge (Kalia's idea)!

Halloween 2017

Halloween started out a little different this year. I got sick at school and Mom had to pick me up. I came home & slept for 4 hours, woke up and felt like myself again. Not sure what it was, but glad it was just a tiny bug and that I still got to go trick-or-treating for a bit.
Thankfully both of our costumes had long sleeves because it was very chilly out. When we walked out of the house there were flurries!!! We were only out about an hour before coming back home.
I have to say, we were more concerned with how many dogs & cats each homeowner had than with what we got in our bags. We always wanted to pet them.
Then came the 'sorting' of the candy. Does every kid do this??? Beckett also gathered all his Almond Joys for his PE teacher - apparently he told the kids that was his favorite. Haha.
Hot chocolate to warm up the shivers!
