Thanksgiving Weekend in Nebraska

On our way to NE...trying to relax & take a nap
Kalia was so excited to tell Gramma that she was practicing sewing buttons! Gramma got some fabric out for her to have. She selected some fuzzy fabric and decided to make a scarf. Here she's pinning the sides...
Kalia was learning how to use the pedal while guiding the fabric through
Then was able to do it all by herself!
Making angel biscuits
The traditional Lego tower!
This was Kalia's SECOND piece of apple pie!
The next day, Dad brought me to the NE vs IA game as part of my birthday present.
It was lots of fun but rainy and chilly!
Kalia and Mom were at her cousin, Erin's house watching the game and staying nice & warm.

March 2016

A few other things we did in March:
Mom took Kalia to the Liberty Middle School's production of The Lion King. Needless to say, she loved it! The whole thing was amazing!!
We went to our friend, Henry Gee's birthday party at Science City. It was SOOO much fun and we LOVED Science City!! We definitely need to go back there sometime!
Time to play!

I showed Mom & Dad my art projects at Kellybrook's Art & Science night. We also made these little catapult things - it was fun!

Mom & Dad had a little getaway in Lincoln, NE while we stayed with Gramma & Grampa on the lake. They had a fancy dinner & went to see Carrie Underwood in concert.

Go Big Red!

Dad got a couple of tickets for a Huskers game from Uncle Ken, so he and I took a little road trip to Nebraska. It was SOOOO much fun!
I loved watching the band, but we left shortly afterwards.
Our car was parked a REALLY, REALLY long way away, so we stopped at this really cool train park to take a break & play.
I got some Husker popcorn at the game too. I loved it!
