Snow Day!

Dad had a guys weekend in Omaha so he left town early to beat the snow.

This is what we woke up to...

So we of course had to play in it!

Snow Days

Thanksgiving break was extended with TWO snow days so we definitely took advantage & did lots of playing!

Dad also taught us this football game while we were snowed in. He said he used to play this when he was a kid.

We did this for our 100th day of school - Mom & Dad were surprised how much I looked like Grampa Larry.

Mom took us to the farm in IA to see Gramma & Grampa. They had just gotten TONS of snow, so we played in it - a LOT! Emma came & joined us...and so did Lucy (the dog).

A few other things we did this month...
Kalia likes helping me with my spelling words. Mom would say the word, then Kalia would use it in a sentence.

Kalia had a traveling teddy for her Start Student week 

Mom & Dad attended a cowboy Christmas party at the King's 

The elves came back to visit...and caught us when we weren't being very nice.

Fresh cookies and a drive to look at holiday lights...

Gramma Jean's angel biscuits - Mmmmm! 

Mom's cousin, Kimberly, came for lunch & to watch the Chiefs game...but we mostly played games with her!

Snow in Iowa

We visited Gramma & Grampa on the farm and they had lots of snow to play with!

We went to Aunt Carol's for Kimberly's bridal shower.

She gave Kalia a necklace because she will be in the wedding. 

 

Papa took us out to eat and of course the girls both wanted to sit by him!

Snow Day!

We had our first (and only) snow day...so we got out & enjoyed it!

What we do in Preschool

Here's what we did in preschool this month:

We love to dress up

We think this picture is really funny! I love Kalia's expression! 

We get lots of playing time outside 

Even in the snow! 

We take walks to see the nearby construction sites. I love watching the construction trucks working! 

More dress up play 

and pretending to be veterinarians 

while the little ones play in the sensory bin 

We studied a large unit on Earth and the solar system 

Now I can tell you all about the planets! 

We drew a lot of them on the sidewalk

The little ones LOVE this song!
