Kalia's First Days Home

Mommy & Daddy brought Kalia home from the hospital. Gramma & Grampa (from the lake) stayed with me at my house the first week. They played with me a lot! Papa spent lots of time playing cars with me. We had lots of races and he taught me to say "Start your engines!" at the beginning of my races. Now I say it all the time!

The 2nd week Gramma (from the farm) came to stay at my house. She played with me lots too! We read lots of books and went for walks. One day it was almost 80 degrees, so we spent almost all day outside playing. I love playing outside!!

Last weekend Papa (from the farm) and Aunt Molly came to visit too!

She had her 1 week Dr's appt and she's already surpassed her birth weight!

I got to visit Mommy & her at the hospital.

I was a bit shy & timid at first, but then I sat next to Mommy and we looked at her eyes, nose and mouth.

Snowed in Kansas City

We've had quite the snow pile up here at my house - 15 inches last week & another 8 inches this week! We even got snowed in the neighborhood when the plows skipped our cul-de-sac. Mommy tried going to work but only got a few feet away from the driveway before getting stuck. This was not a good thing as Baby Girl could come any day now. We did manage to get outside and build a snowman. Daddy also made a snow dog that looks like Sadie! I thought it was pretty cool!
