Kalia - 18 Months

It's hard to believe that she's already 1 1/2 years old...

Where does the time go? 

 

Here are a few things about Kalia:

Height: 33.25" (90th percentile) She grew 3 inches over the summer!! Yikes!

Weight: 27 lbs. (90-95th percentile)

Fav Foods: ice cream, mac & cheese, veggie straws, yogurt, applesauce, ALL fruit, mixed veggies... Recently goes CRAZY for fresh tomatoes! Haven't found anything yet that she doesn't like (yay!), unlike our other child

Drink: milk

Sleep Routine: afternoon nap for a couple hours, bedtime between 7:30-8 and sleeps 'til 7-7:30am; gets a drink of milk before bed (no bottle) and takes a pacifier only when in bed

Signs: More & All Done, shakes head yes & no (but not always for the correct answer)

Words she says: Mom (all the time), Dad (just sometimes), Bebett (Beckett), Sadie, Yes, No, Papa, Qua Qua (duck), Ruff Ruff (dog), Olaf (sometimes)

Toys: loves her baby carrier backpack, giving the babies hugs, swaddling them & rocking them to sleep, putting necklaces on and off, reading books, recently started puzzles, still loves the remotes to the TV

Books: Little Blue Truck, Butterfly Bath

TV Shows: Bubble Guppies (LOVES!), Peppa Pig & Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Movie: Frozen - LOVES the characters and will point to Elsa & Olaf

What she likes to do: hearing herself scream, dance (will put her hands above her head and twirl), being outside, going down slides, taking baths (playing in water), putting lotion on herself, attempt to put her socks & shoes on herself

What she always gets into: the pantry, pulling the broom out, climbing on the kitchen chairs
Latest BIG accomplishment: goes potty on the potty chair!!
