Thanksgiving Weekend in Nebraska

On our way to NE...trying to relax & take a nap
Kalia was so excited to tell Gramma that she was practicing sewing buttons! Gramma got some fabric out for her to have. She selected some fuzzy fabric and decided to make a scarf. Here she's pinning the sides...
Kalia was learning how to use the pedal while guiding the fabric through
Then was able to do it all by herself!
Making angel biscuits
The traditional Lego tower!
This was Kalia's SECOND piece of apple pie!
The next day, Dad brought me to the NE vs IA game as part of my birthday present.
It was lots of fun but rainy and chilly!
Kalia and Mom were at her cousin, Erin's house watching the game and staying nice & warm.

August 2019

Going to Lilo's for shaved Italian ice cream has been our favorite!

Mom & Kalia had a coffee date with her friend Santina & Frankie. They colored, played slap jack and raced trucks across the table.
Cake pops are the best!

Mom celebrated her birthday with friends at Chicken-N-Pickle...playing pickle ball

More pool time!
Kalia just wants all the snacks!

Gearing up for Fall baseball with a little pitching practice
On our way to the IA State Fair we stopped to have lunch with Megan and meet her baby girl, Payton!

Getting excited for football season with all things CHIEFS!
Watching a pre-season game
Attending the Liberty North High School football game. I got to run through the tunnel because I participated in their football camp this summer.

Opening Huskers weekend means lunch at Minsky's since we don't get it on our TV.
Fun with bubbles!!

November 2017

Morning sunrise from our back window
Mom's Ford Focus died so she got a new Toyota Camry hybrid & loves it!
Kalia's school was closed on a Friday, so Gramma on the lake came to spend the day with her. They did some baking...
And more "baking" with play-doh where Gramma showed her how to use the rolling pin and how to scoop the cookies off the pan

Dad had a guys weekend planned where he went to see the Huskers play in MN
Our THANKFUL jar...before dinner every night we write on a leaf what we are thankful for (without duplicating). It was fun!

Our Thanksgiving decorations turned into Christmas decorations...
