Visit to Aunt Molly's

We visited Aunt Molly & Uncle Justin recently. I think Luke & Rio were excited to see Sadie too! Unfortunately, it was REALLY hot that weekend, so we didn't spend a lot of time outside. We did go to an apple orchard on Saturday morning. It was SOOO much fun! We got to pick apples right from the tree and even EAT THEM! Here's a few pics...

The guys went back to the house and Molly & Mom brought me to a children's museum. There were all kinds of activities for me to do there! I had SOOOO much fun running from one activity to the next.
There was a kid-size grocery store where I got to shop for my own groceries.
There was a pizza shop where I got to make my own pizza, put it in the oven & use a cash register. Look out Uncle Ken!
There was a room with all kinds of activities with pushing golf balls down slides...
There were airplanes to fly
 big and small
and a hot air balloon
Kalia came too...she was good and just hung out in the stroller. Someday she'll do all the activities with me.
Oh, and there were trains there too! It was a blast!!
Aunt Molly said she would take me back next time I visit her! I can't wait!!

We found some time Sunday morning to go to the park
(aka...the neighbor's swingset) and fly a kite!

Rio even watched the kite!

Back to School

Daddy went back to school and I "started" school. I was SOOOO excited to go to school! I got to take my own backpack and my own school supplies. Kalia comes too. My teacher is Mrs. Brandy and she has 3 other boys there - Cooper, Carter and Clayton. It was quite an adjustment my first week there. I didn't do a very good job at sharing and I'm not used to having a 1 1/2 year old take my toys. Things are going good now! We do real school stuff there! We talked about the letter "B" last week and learned about bugs and butterflies. I also learned a new "days of the week" song! We go outside to play too, but lately it's only been during breaks because it's so hot out there.

My teacher sends Mommy & Daddy updates throughout the week. Here are a few pics they've received...

The boys there had to learn what a "sister" was all about!

Playing hard...
Working hard...

Go Royals! Go Huskers!

Naps were taken before the big game...
We went to another Royals game only this time it was Husker night @ Kauffman Stadium - in honor of left fielder Alex Gordon. He's my favorite player along with Billy Butler and Escobar (which I sometimes call Excavator). When we got there it was a sea of red and people were shouting "Gooooo Biiiiiiig Reeeeed!" Daddy said that is what it's like at the football games. We received free hats for sitting in the Husker section. We also got to see Herbie, Lil' Red and some of the cheerleaders. I cheered "Let's go Royals!" most of the night.

Mommy took a picture with Herbie (I was too scared)...
But I got a pic with the cheerleaders!
What a stud!
This is Daddy's camera guy friend that always gets us on the jumbotron
We sat WAY up high!
Daddy took me down to the Little K while Mommy was feeding Kalia. I played a little baseball and ran some bases - SO FUN!!

What a fun night!!

Kalia - 5 Months

Here are a few pics daddy took with his fancy camera.
Kalia is 5 months now and growing like a weed!
She's "talking", cooing, spitting and blowing bubbles.
She rolls over from her back to her tummy, but can't quite figure out how to get back over. Some days she's almost got it.
She loves to play with her toys and Beckett loves to play with her. Sometimes he forgets that the toys are for her and not him.
She's still a VERY happy baby and only cries when she's hungry or needs her pants changed. It's more of a whine when she's tired which usually means that she's trying to get comfortable so she can go to sleep.
