Christmas at Union Station & Crown Center

We took our first ever holiday visit to Union Station and Crown Center, and boy, was it FUN!! We went there to see the Holiday Express Train - his name is Rudy, but Kalia & I also got to see Santa. The place was BEAUTIFUL!!! Mom said she felt like a kid again too! Best of all, the weather was perfect so we didn't get frozen!
Waiting in line, admiring the beautiful decorations!
Kalia waited patiently too.
A visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus
Almost to the train...I was sooo excited!!
Inside the train cars were each decorated differently - all festive and Christmas-y. Kalia LOVED staring at the garland & shiny ornaments hanging from the ceiling!
Isn't the train SOOOO COOL?!!!
I give it a 'thumbs up'!
Inside Union Station is KC's largest indoor Christmas Tree (not sure how tall it is though)
Across the way is Crown Center. All of their trees had lights on them too!
And there was this large play area where there were lots and lots of vehicles - a fire truck, tractor, spaceship, race car, train, airplane, dump truck, school bus, and many more! I just ran from car to car - it was SOOO much fun!
Inside Crown Center was a HUGE display of gingerbread houses with a train moving in and out of the houses. It was really cool, and they were really big!
This one below was almost 3 ft wide!!

On our way back home Mom said we're going to make this a tradition every year!
I CAN NOT WAIT!!!
